As an electrical engineer, you will carry out electrical studies for systems such as: HV and LV distribution (switchboards, transformers, UPS, routing/cabling, etc.), motive power and lighting, fire detection, interlocking, access control, door intercom systems, clocks, earthing, electrical protection.
You will be in charge of the entire A to Z management of electrical studies in the various project phases: conceptual, basic and detailed design, procurement, execution follow-up, commissioning, qualification and maintenance.
You will work closely with the project team, depending on your degree of autonomy.
More specifically :
- You attend meetings and capitalize/centralize project experience in budgets, schedules, specifications, quantity surveys, etc.
- You assess customer needs to provide an appropriate solution
- You draw up concepts, diagrams, etc. and organize/guide the activities of the design/modeling team.
- Produce power balances, calculation notes, etc.
- You draw up technical specifications and specifications documents
- Participate in the preparation of functional analyses
- You budget installations at the various stages of the project
- Analyze bids from companies and select the most appropriate ones on the basis of a decision matrix
- Monitor deliverables and attend technical meetings (customer, suppliers, installers)
- Check and approve all execution documents
- Participate in HAZOP reviews, etc.
- You check commissioning and all tests
